Race Day Details
The Jamestown Racing Club programs a six event race card with the first event usually scheduled to start at about 1:00 pm. If visitors are travelling from Adelaide they will need to allow about three (3) hours travelling time. Gate entry is $10/head, concessions are available to card holders.
Local Weather & Track Update
The October race meeting usually benefits from good winter rain resulting in a good cover of grass. It may not be Flemington but the racing surface at Jamestown can be generous for horses looking for good going. September rains can take the “sting out of the ground” In the final week of the 2009 meeting Jamestown recorded 4.2mm of rain.

A local community group will provide marquee dining (serving a three course meal) and bookings can be made by contacting Raelene Blake on 8664 1099
In addition there will be a sausage sizzle/hamburger stall and sandwiches and cool drinks available.
